How do we arrange energy, water and electricity supplies?

What we take for granted in our homes; water, electricity, telephone and sewerage can be found within the townships but in some rural areas these basics as we know them would be the exception. Looking at properties outside the townships you should be prepared to live and work with alternative sources for energy such as generators/solar/wind power plants. This includes your water supply as well. Making your own borehole with pump and sewerage like sceptic tanks are very common. In the Alentejo and Algarve many specialized companies can help you out. We advise as well.
