Who are we?

Real estate agent's office Milmontes is being run by a Dutch couple, Irma de Jong and Harrie Steijns and is centrally situated in Vila Nova de Milfontes, on the Mira estuary.

We continue building on the experience of our German predecessors Angelika and Christian Bräutigam, who set up the office sixteen years ago. Their and our experience in the Alentejo proved to be an excellent condition to help you as good and professionally as possible with purchasing or selling property. 

We have a wide range of offers. Building land, "turnkey" houses and objects that need extended renovation. We have apartments and houses in villages, even old windmills inlands. We also offer agricultural properties, and of course, commercial properties. Besides offering real estate we can also be at service in many other matters: 

• The transaction of your purchase in association with Portuguese legal assistance, like lawyers and jurists.

• We render our services by starting up your own business, obtaining building permits and/or the application of social-security number etc.

• Building activities under supervision and in association with contractors and architects.

• Advice about wind energy and solar energy, the making of boreholes, water heating installation and heating possibilities in cooperation with specialists on site.

• Translation of contracts and other legal Portuguese documents.

• Professional help with learning the Portuguese language
